Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is my home country and I consider myself lucky to live in such a picturesque and manifold country. We have got almost everything; wonderful historical cities, rolling meadows, colourful forests, meandering rivers and mountains so beloved by me. Our mountain ranges are not that high, still thanks to smooth lines of the mountains in the landscape you get nearly a soothing impression. Therefore, there is no surprise that so many people, including me, both love observing the landscape and spending time there.
As I live in Ostrava, I am fortunate to choose from a range of options where to go hiking even after my work. It takes about 30 minutes to the Beskydy Mountains, or a bit longer to the Jeseníky Mountains, or I can decide to go the Malá Fatra Mountains in Slovakia. I truly appreciate and take advantage of this unique location of my hometown.
